A Barese Sunday Lunch with Polentina at Dina!
We have long gazed at the wonders coming out of the Polentina kitchen & are delighted to bring their warmth & comfort to casa Dina for what’s set to be a most cosy Southern Italian Sunday lunch.
POLENTINA is a small glass enclosed cafe within sustainable clothing manufacturer, Apparel Tasker. Sophia & Giulia serve humble dishes of their Italian and Austrian origins - expect all the secrets Nona didn’t tell you about!
The menu will include both fish & meat dishes. Due to the small scale of the event we will not be able to cater for dietary requirements.

Tagliatelle di Calamari, Taralli di Grano Arso e Cedro
In Bari you'll see a lot of raw fish on menus and most commonly eaten down at the port when all the fresh fish comes in early in the morning. This dish is of raw squid, served with our homemade taralli (a typical cracker from Puglia made with a burnt wheat flour) and a salad of citron and herbs.

Tiella Riso, Patate e Cozze
1 traditional baked dish from Bari of rice, potato and mussels.

Gniummerieddi e Peperoni
Typical grilled meat skewers from Bari made up of lamb's offal, herbs and pecorino cheese. Served with our marinated peppers.

Cartellate e Latte di Mandorle
A typical dessert prepared for Christmas and special occasions, strips of dough are woven into nests, fried and dipped in wild
flower honey. Served with homemade almond milk which is adored in Bari and used quite often in desserts and drinks.
There are multiple seating times available across Sunday with a maximum group size of 4 due to the counter style seating at Dina. Please choose and purchase a ticket correlating to your booking time from the drop down menu - ensure any tickets for a party are bought together to avoid disappointment.
Space is strictly limited & your ticket includes all food, with drink available to purchase on the afternoon.
