A sparkling wine made in the pet nat method, a confermtation of predominantly Scheurebe-Müller Thurgau and Riesling with a little Grauburgunder and Gewurztraminer added to give the cuvee a little more structure and complexity. A lively and invigorating wine that has not been disgorged leaving it a little cloudy. This is a light touch of mango & fresh white fruits. Very delicious!
Hannes and Claudiu are based in South Pfalz, their vineyards are scattered around the villages of Ilbesheim, Arzheim, and Leinsweiler in the municipality of Landau surrounded by the stunningly beautiful Palatinate forest. The vineyards in certain areas are composed of limestone and other areas of red sandstone located about 200m above sea level.
