Nicolas Pavie makes incredible elegant, pure and balanced wines in an unfashionable part of South Beaujolais. Influenced by some of the great's he is winemaker devoted to his craft, tending to just 1.8 hectares, bottling a number of different wines every year by parcel but also often by vessel.
This is from Clay-limestone soils and very stony clay-limestone soil. 10 months maturing in vat
No Judgement Day is all black fruit, with weightless lifted fruit and real power and length. As with all his wines it opens up wonderfully over a few hours.
