Julie carries on with her negociant Minouche that we all loved so much last year.
Minouche is huge, intense black fruits, paired with a lovely stones minerality. Almost savoury touch.
A blend of Gamay from two parcels planted over granite in and around Saint-Amour in the region’s North, grown by vignerons Gilles & Jérôme Courtois.
Last year’s was a particularly warm, dry vintage in these parts, a story that is becoming all too common and one that threatens the very identity of the wines we love from this part of the world. The plus was that Julie was able to harvest plenty of ripe, healthy grapes and fill her cellar for the first time in many years.
