Very different from recent years - what is usually a glou glou wine as the name suggests is actually more refined this time around.
Spicy, herbaceous forest fruits, low tannins, a zippy line of acidity and an iron-y, sanguine quality. A much more smooth, supple texture to this vintage and a wine that really over-delivers at this modest sort of price. Generous, delicious Ardéchoise rouge - ideal lightly chilled.
