We are thrilled to be working with Anna Søgaard and her new concept Jomfru. Jomfru is a celebration of classic Danish dishes and Nordic flavours with a focus on fish and seafood. Expect classic and modern takes on the Danish open faced sandwich, smørrebrød, along with warm plates taking inspiration from Danish classics.
Oysters with snaps, a selection of pickled herrings and winter warming pork and fish courses served with preserves of previous seasons will be throughout the menu.
Anna Søgaard trained and worked in her home city of Copenhagen before moving to the UK to open Erst as sous chef in Manchester. She then made the move to London to open Bistro Freddie in Shoreditch, as head chef, cooking contemporary takes on French bistro classics.
Now going back to her Nordic roots, Anna will be cooking her take on classic dishes from her childhood in Denmark mixed with the flavours and techniques from her training in Nordic cuisine.
The Menu is A La Carte, booking is recommended.
It is important that guests arrive on time, the table is yours for just over 2 hours, we will not be able to extend that time.
Due to the smale scale of this event we cannot cater for dietaries.
We take a £10 deposit per person at the time of booking which will be deducted from your bill on the day. Should you need to cancel your booking, please do so 48 hours or more in advance of your booking to receive full deposit refunded. We will not refund deposits for no shows or cancelations within 48 hours of your reservation. As a small business we appreciate your business and if you cant make it we need to try and fill your spot/s to make these very special events continue.
