From a three hectare natural amphitheatre of vines planted on a steep slope hidden amongst woodlands, high in the hills of Fleurie. The vines here are up to ninety years old and planted over a complex terroir of pink granite, basalt and quartz. Delicate and nuanced, it is featherweight on the palate with a real purity to its bright red berries, minerals and spice. As good as it gets in Fleurie.
